- Privacy: applications, resume text and job descriptions are stored only in the visitor's browser local storage. No server, no account, no tracking, no upload of any kind.
- Free: every feature is free, forever. No Pro tier, no locked features. Donations via PayPal are optional and keep the tool free.
- Data retention: records are kept for 1 year by default. On load, records older than the chosen retention period (3 months / 6 months / 1 year / keep until deleted) are removed automatically and the user is told how many were removed. Export JSON/CSV, import JSON, and delete-all are built in.
- Resume tailor: keyword-based, NOT an AI or language model. It extracts keywords from a pasted job description, shows matched vs. missing keywords against the pasted resume, and drafts a tailored summary, bullet suggestions and a cover-letter draft. No text leaves the browser.
