💼 Job Tracker & Resume Tailor

Free forever · No signup · No upload · Nothing leaves your browser

Track every application.
Tailor every resume.

One free page for the whole job hunt: log each application with its status, salary range and follow-up date, then reshape your resume and cover letter to match each job description — in seconds, with no account and no AI service in the loop.

Your records are kept for 1 year by default and removed automatically after that. You can change this, export, or delete everything at any time — see Data & Retention.

📋 Job Application Tracker

Everything is saved in your browser only. Add an application, update its status as you hear back, and never lose track of which resume version you sent where.

0Applications
0Interviews
0Offers
—Response rate

Response rate = applications that got any reply (interview, offer, or rejection) out of all applications you actually submitted — wishlist items don't count.

No applications yet. Add your first one above — or try the sample data in Data & Retention.

✍️ Resume Tailor

Honest note: this is a keyword-based tool, not an AI and not a language model. It runs 100% in your browser, compares the words in a job description with the words in your resume, and drafts a summary, bullet suggestions and a cover letter from the overlap. Nothing is sent anywhere. Use the drafts as a starting point and rewrite them in your own voice — never claim experience you don't have.

🗄️ Data & Retention

Your data lives only in this browser. Here is exactly how long it is kept and how to take it with you.

How long records are kept

Default: 1 year. When you open this page, any application older than the period below is automatically removed, and a notice tells you how many were removed.

Current setting: 1 year. Applications older than 1 year are removed automatically on load.

Take your data with you

JSON export includes your applications and settings and can be imported back later. CSV export is for spreadsheets and cannot be re-imported.

How it works

  1. Add every application — company, role, status, salary range, follow-up date, and which resume version you sent.
  2. Track the pipeline — filter by status, search, and watch the stats strip: total applications, interviews, offers, and your response rate.
  3. Tailor before you apply — paste your resume and the job description; the tailor shows covered vs. missing keywords and drafts a summary, bullets and a cover letter.
  4. Follow up on time — sort by follow-up date so no application goes quiet for too long.
  5. Keep your data yours — export JSON or CSV any time. Records are kept for 1 year by default, then removed automatically.

Frequently asked questions

Is this tool really free?

Yes. Every feature is free, forever. There is no Pro tier and nothing is locked. A voluntary PayPal donation link is shown on the page; donations are optional and simply help keep the tool free.

Where is my data stored?

Only in your own browser, in local storage. Nothing is uploaded to any server, there is no account and no tracking. If you clear your browser data, your applications are gone — export a backup first.

How long are my records kept?

By default, records are kept for 1 year. When you open the tool, any application older than the retention period is automatically removed and you are told how many were removed. You can change the retention period to 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, or keep records until you delete them yourself.

Does the resume tailor use AI?

No. The tailor is a transparent keyword-based tool that runs entirely in your browser. It extracts the skills and keywords from the job description, shows which ones your resume already covers and which are missing, and drafts a summary, bullet suggestions and a cover letter from those keywords. No text is sent to any AI service.

Can I export my data?

Yes. You can export all applications as JSON (which can be imported back later) or as CSV for a spreadsheet, and delete everything at any time from the Data & Retention section.

Will the tailor write my resume for me?

No — and it shouldn't. It gives you a keyword gap analysis plus drafts to edit in your own voice. Only list skills and experience you genuinely have; recruiters and interviewers check.
